Smart Farm Nursery

What is the Smart FARM Project?

Smart Farmers Adopting Responsible Management (FARM) is a project led by Varacco and supported by the BIMP-EAGA-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (BKCF). It aims to upskill and empower smallholder coffee farmers to become Smart FARMers. This is done by establishing a climate-smart coffee nursery that is powered by Internet of Things (IoT) and nano-biofertilizers. In the said nursery, farmers will be able to create quality coffee seedlings through data driven farming practices and planned interventions. Frequent capacity buildings will be conducted to help farmers cope with new technologies, farming interventions and environmental updates.
